BPW Durham Mandate

The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Durham advocates for women’s issues and improving the status of women in business, the professions and in industry.
We do this by:

  • Creating Connections
  • Offering forums for discussion and debate of current issues of concern

    • As well as

  • Providing methods of positive change through our community, our provincial, national, and international BPW Chapters

    • BPW Durham offers to develop leadership skills, and relationships, both personal and professional.

    Knowing Your Value and How to Ask for It Workshop

    During this 'Pay Equity Month' , BPWDurham in partnership with the Town of Ajax will be holding a breakfast seminar. Lorna Weston-Smyth, leadership and communication coach, will speak about how business and professional women can appreciate the value of their work, speak up for what they deserve and ask for what they want to formulate new solutions to make gains in the corporate world.
